Then I started drawing caricatures<br /> in 2006 at Sea World Orlando with<br /> Joe Bluhm, Aaron Philby, Dino Casterline,<br /> Nate Grahm, Dan Hay, and Ken<br /> Knafou. I’ve been drawing caricatures<br /> for 10 years. Grigor Eftimov, Joe Bluhm,<br /> Salvador Dali, Marlo Meekins and Gerald<br /> Scarfe were big influences.<br /> <br /> Besides the book, I have been doing<br /> a lot of inner work and exploring the<br /> mysteries of the world, which has<br /> given me so many creative ideas for<br /> future projects.<br /> <br /> My recent trip to Japan changed my life,<br /> even though I was only there for a week.<br /> People are so respectful, and I feel Kage<br /> Nakanishi has created an epic empire<br /> for caricaturists with his Caricature<br /> Japan business. He has really inspired<br /> me with his generosity and care to the<br /> caricature world.<br /> <br /> I created a book to bring joy and inspiration<br /> to those who love caricatures and/<br /> or animals. Plus I chose mostly famous<br /> pets to relate a popular likeness that most<br /> can appreciate and laugh at. I also put<br /> the drawings of the supporters’ pets in<br /> the book as a “thank you” for helping my<br /> business become what it is today. After<br /> releasing my first celebrity caricature<br /> book, Beasted, back in 2012, I leaped into<br /> the pet world, which inspired me to create<br /> the new fun, funny and exaggerated book<br /> called Little Beasties! This book will be<br /> filled with over 40 finished color caricature<br /> studio pieces of famous pets and around<br /> 200 pet sketches overall. I love animals<br /> and their personalities. Like humans,<br /> their uniqueness can be captured and<br /> artistically expressed, which is so fun and<br /> interesting to exaggerate. Inside the book,<br /> I have added just about all of the drawings<br /> of the furry little subjects that I drew<br /> for the supporters of my Little Beasties<br /> business as a way to give back for helping<br /> its growth. Three years in the making, this<br /> book is all but done except for getting<br /> it printed.
