===Usage===
This template was added to help the [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/1911 verification|verification phase]] of the EB1911 piece of [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles]]. It adds articles to [[:Category:1911 Britannica articles needing updates]].

It takes two optional parameters:
*article=''article name'' — this appears in bold in the text and alters the text from:
*:<code>"on an article in the out-of-copyright"</code> to:
*: <code>"on the article '''''article name''''' in the out-of-copyright"</code>
*section=''x'' — this alters the text from:
*:<code>"This article is largely"</code> to:
*:<code>"This section is largely"</code>
