Meet Your Nominees
Now is the time to VOTE for the 2019-2020 Board of Directors! This year we have ten nominees. Their nomination speeches are shown in alphabetical order and cover four pages, so make sure to review them all before making your decisions. The ballot can be found inserted in this issue and can be mailed or brought to the convention. Mailed ballots must arrive by November 13, 2019. Good luck to all of our nominees!

It’s been a great first year on the ISCA board! I’m excited to be a part of bringing you all a convention to remember! New award categories, prolific guest speakers, and exciting workshops. Lots of good changes to make the convention more rewarding and fun. I’m excited to continue being part of a fantastic group of passionate people who love the organization and want to see it grow and flourish.
ISCA has changed my life. Starting out in caricature back in 2000, I could never dream that one day I’d be meeting and drawing with my heroes and having a chance to attend seminars with legends and compete against the best in the world! The conventions are truly life changing, and the community is a great source of encouragement and growth! The conventions have offered me an opportunity to test my skills against fellow artists and I have been privileged to win many awards, including a Silver and Gold Nosey, which opened up the way for me to create The Ultimate Guide to Modern Live Caricature. I know what the conventions have meant to me, hence I hope to continue serving the caricature community and keep bringing you all inspiring guest speakers and seminars for years to come!

Ben Bloss
Hello fellow caricature enthusiasts,
My name is Ben Bloss and I am running for a second term on the ISCA board of directors. I have been doing caricatures professionally for the past 15 years and have been a member of this fine organization for 12 years and counting. I’ve worked in several theme parks, busked in downtown areas, and traveled these United States working the fair circuit. Being a caricature artist is the best version of me.
cannot say enough to express how much I love this art form, and it blows me away to know that there are so many talented people around the world who are just as ecstatic about silly faces as I am. That being said, I’d like to be one of the lucky people tasked with fueling the fire that keeps the engines of this ever-growing community going. I only wish to continue to share my passion and work hard alongside of all of you to be the best caricature artists we can be. Thank you again for considering me for re-election.
