iPad Pro Tip - How to View Reference Photos from a Drawing App

Here’s a quick tip on how to have a reference image on the screen while drawing/painting a caricature on an iPad Pro. I use the iPad Pro 12” with Apple Pencil and the Procreate app to paint. I now use the iPad Pro for a majority of my commissions, as it is very portable and the painting apps are getting better with every update. My name is Jared Hobson from Le Roy, Illinois. I love drawing caricatures and work a regular 9-5 job while pushing myself to become a professional caricaturist. I am looking forward to being able to become a full-time caricaturist along the likes of Jason Seiler and Tom Fluharty to create magazine covers and illustrations from a studio setting.
